Arch Interim Housing has been providing quality corporate housing in the St. Louis area since 2006. But their site needed some updates and a redesign to really speak to the high-quality services they provided. Robb Lax, owner of both Arch Interim Housing and Empire Furniture Rental approached us with a clear vision for what he wanted in his new site. Big imagery, clarity and a bit of class.
The new site features clean white space and bright colors. We used transparency throughout the site to create shapes and patterns within the colored bars and add interest and style. It also has great new features, including a room by room listing of furnishings provided and a map that organizes housing by location. On the locations page, you can filter through housing listings by region and see at a glance what features each individual property has.
Functionality was a big part of the new site and it’s not something that a lot of people think about when it comes to a new website. People focus on the look, how sleek it is and if it will draw people in. But, what they don’t think about is functionality. Without functionality of user experience then you have no website because users will simply leave your site and you will have spent a bunch of money on a website that nobody is going to use. The functionality part of class, clarity, and functionality is like we said overlooked, but yet the most important part. Not only does it mean people are going to find it easier to, but they are going to stay on your page long, decrease your bounce rate and share your site with other users. All of these user experience points are things that will lead to better rankings and this is exactly what you want.
