Get to Know Steve Better
Steve grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri and then moved to Columbia, Missouri in 2000 to work as a PrePress Technician at the Columbia Daily Tribune. In 2010 he decided to switch careers and went into business for himself as a freelance graphic designer and web designer. In 2018, Steve moved to St. Louis and worked at a few agencies before finding a home at Matchbox.
Steve is a WordPress developer and Senior Developer on our Engineering team where he carefully crafts websites with user experience and accessibility in mind for both the visitors to the website and for those who edit the content.

What do you do in your spare time?
“I enjoy gaming, spending time with friends, playing guitar, and being a cat dad to my two cats.“

“I can cross my eyes!”

What’s the coolest place you’ve ever visited?
“One time I drove from Missouri to San Diego where I toured the bay on a yacht with a friend’s wedding party and visited the Grand Canyon on the way back.”

“Back in the day I used to book local bands every Monday night at a club.”
