Meet Clara Hart. Clara grew up in flat, dry west Texas, and then went to Kenyon College where she graduated with a degree in Studio Art and English. Post-grad, she knew she wanted to work in a creative, collaborative environment, so she sought out UX/UI design as a career path. She completed the Designlab UX Academy bootcamp, and now feels very lucky to be able to work on creative projects every day.
Clara’s role as a Junior UX/UI Designer allows her to contribute to all stages of the design process. A typical day at Matchbox may include helping to create a mood board for a new project, fine-tuning font and color styles in Figma, applying client feedback to ongoing designs, or a number of other design tasks.
“I love the creative freedom that a fun, friendly atmosphere like Matchbox provides. As a growing designer, it is important to be in a place where you’re able to absorb knowledge and feel empowered to throw out your own ideas and collaborate with the team.”
