I love the creative freedom that a fun, friendly atmosphere like Matchbox provides. As a growing designer, it is important to be in a place where you’re able to absorb knowledge and feel empowered to throw out your own ideas and collaborate with the team.

Get to Know Clara Better
Clara grew up in flat, dry west Texas, and then went to Kenyon College where she graduated with a degree in Studio Art and English. Post-grad, she knew she wanted to work in a creative, collaborative environment, so she sought out UX/UI design as a career path. She completed the Designlab UX Academy bootcamp, and now feels very lucky to be able to work on creative projects every day.
Clara’s role as a Junior UX/UI Designer allows her to contribute to all stages of the design process. A typical day at Matchbox may include helping to create a mood board for a new project, fine-tuning font and color styles in Figma, applying client feedback to ongoing designs, or a number of other design tasks.
