Since then, Brent has been assembling a team of experts at Matchbox Design Group who are as enthusiastic about moving brands forward digitally as he is. Brent has overseen award-winning work for a variety of industries, such as healthcare, university, architecture, packaged goods, retail, technology and more. Brent sees his job as more than simply building brands. He sees his job as anticipating a client’s unforeseen need and exceeding it.

“Translate our client’s needs and vision into great digital media.”
What do you like most about working here?
“I made a job out of playing on the internet! We’ll there’s way more to it than that, but that’s how I like to think of it.”
What did you do before working at Matchbox Design Group?
“My first job out of college was being a marketing associate for Ameriwood Industries that made ready-to-assemble furniture. After 10 months, I felt it was the right time to follow my passion and start Matchbox with Cullen.”
What do you do in your spare time?
“Play with my kid, hang out with my wife, play guitar, play with computery stuff and from time to time, I enjoy a craft beer.”
Favorite St. Louis activity/restaurant/spot?
“Biking at Queeny Park, Three Kings in the Loop and The Art Museum.”
Digital/design/dev trend you are most excited about in 2015?
“Expanding responsive/adaptive design and wearable tech.”
