Our Photography Process

The type of photography that you need for your website will strongly depend on your industry and brand. Similarly to creating a design, we’ll need to know everything about the message you’re trying to communicate and the overarching goals for your site. This starts with an initial consultation which we commonly refer to as the “discovery phase”. If you’re not already engaged in a website redesign, we’ll schedule a call with you to ask questions and get a feel for how you’re wanting to incorporate visual elements into your site.

Once we’ve gathered this information, we’ll then reach out to schedule a shoot. We’ll agree upon a time and place then walk you through what to expect on the day of the shoot. Every shoot is different, although we always prepare a shot list to ensure that we’ll be as effective as possible with the time we’re allotted. Once the shoot is completed, we will then need some time to edit the photos before we share them with you. The final step is receiving a folder(s) with your high-resolution images that you can add to your site to give it that much-needed facelift. 

We also offer a photography management service if you need help figuring out which photos should go where. We take a strategic approach, applying our background knowledge of design and visual storytelling to determine how to create the most effective digital experience with images.
