SSM Health Branding Case Study – Brand Strategy
In late 2015, St. Louis University Hospital was purchased from Tenet Healthcare by SSM. Since we had created six sites for St. Louis University Hospital, each site’s presence needed to be updated with new branding to reflect the change in ownership.
The existing sites donned a large swoosh shape that dominated the header of most of the sites, except the robotic surgery site and the “You Are Special. We Are Specialists.” campaign site. To align the look and feel with SSM, as a branding agency we provided detailed brand standards outlining type styles and colors to be used. We streamlined the color palette for all sites to match SSM’s navy blue and we updated whitespace and other elements of the look and feel.
Since all of the sites rank very well, they will each contribute to the overall success of SSM’s website portfolio and continue to be a lasting symbol of our contribution to the image of St. Louis University Hospital.
