Get to Know Sebastian Better
Sebastian grew up in St. Louis, MO. He attended college at Mary Baldwin University in Virginia where he played football and graduated with a degree in sport management and marketing. Truthfully, Seb got to where he is today because of sports, supportive parents/friends, and having a good work ethic.
Sebastian is part of our sales department at Matchbox. The role is Business Development, but Seb looks at it more as an opportunity to have really awesome conversations with people where he get to find out if there’s something that we can help with (SEO, Webdev, etc.). A typical day for Seb is making sure his leads and contacts are in the right step in the process as far as outbound – Phone calls, emails, Linkedin, etc. Like everyone else on the Matchbox team he’s a king of multitasking which often includes juggling conversations, following up on emails, and returning calls. He’ll also spend time setting up discovery calls so that we can learn more about a potential client’s business and goals.
“I love feeling like part of a team where what I’m doing actually means something to the company. Everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful. I would love to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to make and create a website, the design elements that take place and how much talent it takes to accomplish it.”– Sebastian Marton
