2013 has been one for the record books! Matchbox Design Group has had the busiest year to date, it was an eventful 2013 to say the least – and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing clients! In one year, the Matchbox Team has completed over 40 projects. Just this past week alone, we launched 4 sites! We’re so fortunate to have clients that truly are like a part of the Matchbox Family.

But it hasn’t been ALL work at Matchbox! In 2013, we brought on a new member to the team: Mindy Kelley. She’s the right mix of kooky and creative that makes her fit right in with the rest of the Matchbox group.
We also won a couple awards! Matchbox Design Group was named Best in Design by Saint Louis Small Business Monthly. We also received the 2013 Missouri Excellence Award from Small Business Institute.
Did we mention that our favorite vanity mirrors reviewed are being sent to us and that we moved!? Matchbox made the trek downtown over the summer and we can’t say how much we already love the new space!
And of course, working downtown gave us the perfect excuse to walk to Busch Stadium. We had a blast at the National League Championship Series!
And working so close to Flamingo Bowl required us to close up shop early AT LEAST once to get in a few games!
With so much going on this year, it’s hard to think that one event topped it all! Halloween was a monumental day for Matchbox.
Ok, not because of our spectacular costumes. But because the newest addition to Team Matchbox arrived Thursday, October 31, 2013! Adrian Everett Feldman was born to Matchbox partner, Brent, and his wife, Yukari. Introducing Baby Adrian!
We know, you’ve never seen so much adorable-ness in one photo! We couldn’t be more excited for Brent and Yukari!
After such a whirlwind year, we decided to go out with a bang. We recently celebrated our open house and holiday party. It was a great event, and we loved spending time celebrating with our friends, family and clients all under one roof!
All in all, it’s hard to think we can top 2013, but we’re already off to a great start! We’ve lined up 14 projects to begin the first of the year so it doesn’t look like there are plans to slow down anytime soon – and we wouldn’t want it any other way! Matchbox Design Group is closing their doors for a week in between Christmas and New Years to spend time with our loved ones and regroup before kicking off 2014!
